
The final T-shaped part of the south approach bridge of Yangtze River Bridge in Zigui, central China’s Hubei Province was hoisted and installed on July 20, marking the completion of the world's largest span steel box truss thrust arch.
Zigui Yangtze River Bridge crosses over Bingshubaojian Valley. It is 883.2 meters in length and 531.2 meters in main span.

As a steel box truss thrust arch bridge, the span of the bridge ranks as the first in the world, and its clearance height ranks as the first in Asia.
The construction of the project started in August 2015, and now the whole line has been completed. It is scheduled to open to public traffic this October.
