Since graduating from university in 1995, Li Jianhua has devoted himself to airport construction. Now at 49, he is the deputy director and project manager of the Beijing Daxing International Airport construction project under Beijing Urban Construction Group.
From Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 of Beijing Capital International Airport to Beijing Daxing International Airport, he has witnessed three generations of China's “gateway” to the world. The new airport will open to traffic before this year's National Day holiday, which he feels is his biggest achievement yet.
