

On September 5, the 7th National Moral Model Symposium was held in Beijing. Dong Xueshu from Pu'er City won the National Moral Model Nomination Award.
He was born in February of 1936 and was the director of the Media Department of the Yunnan Institute of Parasitic Disease Prevention and Treatment Center and a member of the Yunnan Malaria Research Committee. During his more than 60-years’ experience, he led his team to build the largest mosquito resource pool in China, compiled a 4.1 million-word academic monograph, and comprehensively summarized the results of more than 80-year mosquito research conducted in Yunnan since 1935.
