
A Chinese military band rehearses for the military parade to be held in Beijing for the National Day celebrations on Oct. 1, 2019. Some 15,000 military personnel will take part in the parade, the largest in recent years. A total of 59 formations, a military band, more than 160 aircraft and 580 pieces of equipment will also be part of the parade. The military band includes more than 1,000 members from different sections of the PLA and will need to be able to play for approximately four hours during the parade.
