According to the statistics from Yiwu customs, the total import and export value of Yiwu City from January to November of 2019 was 265.76 billion yuan (about 37.93 billion U.S. dollars), a 12.0 percent increase over the same period last year, which has exceeded the total import and export value of 2018. The value of import and export from January to November of 2019 totaled 8.78 billion yuan (about 1.25 billion U.S. dollars) and 256.98 billion yuan (about 36.67 billion U.S. dollars) respectively, achieving an increase of 168.1 percent and 9.8 percent respectively than the same period last year.
