The China National Philatelic Corporation recently issued a set of postcards featuring the efforts made by the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) Air Force in combating the novel coronavirus epidemic, vividly depicting these stories using modern information technology.
The set is composed of two postcards, the first showing a special “boarding pass” for the domestically developed Y-20 large transport aircraft, and the other an “express waybill” for the care packages sent to medics dispatched by the PLA Air Force to the front line of the battle against the epidemic.
The PLA Air Force has used medium and large transport aircraft, including the Y-20 large transport aircraft, to urgently transport medical workers and medical supplies provided by the armed forces to Wuhan.
The Communist Party of China (CPC) PLA Air Force committee sent care packages to medical workers dispatched by the PLA Air Force to Hubei province, aimed at boosting their morale and encouraging them to continue fighting the epidemic.
The postcard set contains a total of 12 QR codes, which records the major actions and historical moments of the PLA Air Force as part of the nationwide effort to fight the epidemic.
The postcards will be given to the PLA Air Force’s front-line personnel in the battle against the novel coronavirus, and also museums and exhibition centers in military bases.
