HANGZHOU, April 1 (Xinhua) -- Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, said major cities can become "smarter" by using big data, cloud computing and artificial intelligence technologies to modernize urban governance.
He made the remarks while visiting the City Brain, a smart city platform aiming to improve urban management, in Hangzhou, east China's Zhejiang Province Tuesday.
