The Brazil Studies Center of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) held a symposium on "future-oriented cooperation" Thursday in Beijing to mark the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Brazil. Former Chinese ambassadors to Brazil Shen Yun’ao, Yuan Tao, and Chen Duqing, an official from the economic department of the Brazilian Embassy in China, and a number of experts in Latin American Studies attended the meeting.
