Bowling balls, dumbbells, super slingshots, and other 8,000 plus teaching aids of 106 different categories are the treasures of the students in Baihanchang Central Primary School in Kunming, Yunnan. The aids were made by Bi Shoujin, who is regarded as the super P.E. teacher by his students. In the past three decades, Bi creatively turned 'wastes' into wealth, making teaching aids by using waste wood clips, used tires, old basketballs, and etc. Students love his class. And in Bi's eyes, it is the kids' smiling faces that keep him working.
