Dilkamar, a college student majoring in medical care, lost her right leg in the terrorist attack in Luntai, Xinjiang on Sept. 21, 2014. She has not cried since she was injured. "I know if I cry, my parents will be sadder," Dilkamar said calmly in hospital. "I don't know any of the attackers. Why did they do this to me?" she asked.
Raziye, one of the attackers, also lost her right leg and arm. "I was deceived by devils," she said.
40 rioters died in a series of explosions in Luntai county, Xinjiang Uyghur autonomous region on Sept. 21, 2014. Six civilians, two police officers and two auxiliary policemen were killed; 54 civilians including 32 ethnic Uyghurs, were injured.
