Asia's first "air crash simulator" was recently been put into use for an Airbus 320 of Air China's southwest branch, based in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. The all-moving simulator, designed for emergency evacuation training on land, can imitate various flight states such as taking-off, taxiing and landing. It also can imitate the states of engine on fire, turbulence and emergency landings. The emergency states appear at the same time on the simulated window visuals in both the pilot control cabin and passenger cabins. [Photo from the Official Micro-blog of the Huaxi Metropolis Daily]
