Danfeng Flowery Playhouse, located in Longjuzhai, Danfeng county, was built in the 17th year of Emperor Guangxu of Qing Dynasty (1891 A.D.).

The wood structural temple faces the River Dan in the south. In China, only two playhouses are named with flowery. One is the South Playhouse in Bozhou, Anhui province. The other is Danfeng Flowery playhouse also known as North Playhouse. The beauty of Danfeng Flowery Playhouse mainly shows in its overall architecture being enveloped in a mix of drawing and dedicate carves on it.
