
(Pu'er Daily)--On the morning of Jan. 10, 2015, "2015 GMS (Greater Mekong Sub-region) Fair" was held in Simao District, Pu'er. Present at the opening ceremony were foreign trade and economic representatives from five countries: Laos, Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar and Vietnam.
According to the source, the five-day exhibition with 347 booths attracted over 300 domestic and overseas exhibitors from China, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam, presented diverse characteristic commodities, and created a major platform for Pu'er to enhance exchanges and expand economic and trade cooperation with GMS, Southeast Asian and South Asian countries.
Consul generals for Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar and Vietnam at Kunming visited the exhibition and expected to further promote the economic and trade cooperation and humanity exchanges between respective countries and Pu'er.
