BEIJING, Feb. 27 -- China's top legislature appointed Chen Jining as Minister of Environmental Protection on Friday, replacing Zhou Shengxian.
The decision was adopted at the bi-monthly session of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, which runs from Wednesday to Friday.
