
CHENGDU, April 9 -- A minivan plunged over a cliff in southwest China's Sichuan Province on Wednesday, leaving seven people dead and eight others injured, the local publicity department said on Thursday.
The minivan was carrying passengers to a funeral when it fell off a cliff in Meigu county at around 10 a.m. on Wednesday. All the injured are being treated.
