
YINCHUAN, April 20 -- A traffic accident has left eight people dead and another injured in northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, local transportation authorities said on Monday.
A truck, belonging to an engineering company, collided with a coach at a crossroads in Yinchuan, the regional capital, at about 6:50 p.m. on Sunday.
Six of the coach's passengers died at the scene and despite efforts, two died at hospital. All the passengers are male migrant workers from neighboring provinces.
