
JINAN, May 10 -- Ten workers were killed and another three injured after a wall collapsed in east China on Saturday, local authorities said.
The accident occurred at around 5 p.m. within a transportation company in Lanling County, Shandong Province, when parts of the company's wall under construction suddenly tumbled. Of the 13 workers at the site, six were killed on the spot, while another four died after medical efforts failed, according to the local government.
The injured are receiving treatment in hospital and are said to be in stable condition.
An investigation is under way.
