Johannesburg, June 15 (People’s Daily Online) — African head leaders and representatives gathered in Johannesburg on Sunday for the African Union summit. The opening ceremony of the Assembly of the Union was due to start at 11:30 in the morning, but was delayed until almost 4:00 in the afternoon, which kept journalists and staff waiting for hours.
