On June 24, Jack Ma, founder of Alibaba, posted an entry in his Sina weibo to inspire those who failed in college entrance exam.
As we know, Jack Ma is the founder and Executive Chairman of Alibaba Group, a group of highly successful Internet-based businesses. And yet this successful man had to sit the college entrance examination three times.
“Many successful men have failed the examination, but they never give up,” he told those students who failed in the exam in the entry. He also said “some people may have flair in study but it doesn’t necessarily mean that they will do better than those whose talents lie in other areas.”
In his first entrance examination, he only got one point in his math. Later he worked as secretary, a porter and in other simple jobs. He only got 19 points in math in the second examination and failed again. His parents tried to persuade him to give up the examination. But he chose not to. He finally scored 79 in math in his third examination and entered college.
