China strongly condemned a terrorist attack that happened in Jazeera Palace Hotel on July 26, 2015 in Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia, which killed at least 15 people including a security guard at China's embassy.

Al-Shabaab has claimed responsibility. The terrorist outrages must be condemned strongly.

China has lodged representations in Mogadishu, urging the the Somalian side take all necessary measures to treat the wounded and ensure safety of China's organizations and people in Somalia.
