A new mode of photovoltaic power generation has been realized in Songjiang district, Shanghai, which helps materialize fish-farming and power generation in the same pond and blazes a new trial for new energy industry.
There are many aquaculture bases in Songjiang, and the space above the ponds was seldom used. The new mode of photovoltaic power generation aimed at utilizing the unused space. Many photovoltaic panels are placed above the ponds, turning the ponds into power plants.
With an area of 800 square meters, the photovoltaic power generation project is predicted to generate 78,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity per year, and saves 24 tons of standard coals.
