Guiyang has been ranked as No. 1 in the list of "China's Ten Summer Resorts" due to its moderate temperature, low ultraviolet radiation, clean air and pure water.
In sweltering July, its average temperature is only 22 degrees centigrade. Compared with the cities such as Changsha, Chengdu and Chongqing around it, this cool environment indeed attracts many people to spend a fresh summer holiday.
Coming from the muggy Guangzhou city, the family of Wang is fascinated by the cool weather of Guiyang. "Only in four hours, I feel myself getting out of a steamer and jumping into a refrigerator," said Wang the moment he got off the bullet train.
When talking about the transportation, tourists speak highly of the rapid development of Guiyang. Great improvements have been made in the aspects of flights, highways, high-speed railways etc.
