
BEIJING, Aug. 20 -- China's top political advisor Yu Zhengshengmet with a delegation from the Republic of Korea (ROK) led by Won Yoo-chul, a lawmaker with the ruling Saenuri Party.
Yu, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), spoke highly of the development of China-ROK relations, and called on the two sides to continue to push forward the bilateral strategic partnership of cooperation to a new high.
Yu said the CPPCC, China's top political advisory body, was ready to further strengthen exchanges with the ROK National Assembly on national governance and cultural cooperation, to contribute to the development of bilateral relations.
Won said the ROK National Assembly will conduct more exchanges with the CPPCC to promote the ROK-China relationship.
