2015 China Xinjiang Development Forum is held in Urumqi, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, on Aug. 18, 2015. The theme of the two-day forum is "Building the Silk Road Economic Belt -- Development Opportunity and Choice of Xinjiang".
On Aug. 16, the attendees visit Turpan, a prefecture-level city located in the east of Xinjiang.
