Four grade 2 students and four preschool students started their study on Sept. 8 in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. As the only teacher in this primary school, Li Zhaowen teaches six courses including Chinese, mathematics and music.
Li has been a teacher for 37 years. On his way to a family visiting of one of his students in 1986, Li broke his leg. Since then, Li has to walk with a walking stick. Li devotes himself to teaching hoping the students in his school all have a good future and will not be restricted in mountainous areas.
