Guo Youbao, 45, is a vegetable farmer in Nanchang city, southeast China's Jiangxi province. He runs a self-help vegetable shop in the center of Nanchang city and customers never paid him less money even though he was not at the booth every afternoon.
Lacking labors, Guo had to leave his shop and to pick up vegetables in his own garden every afternoon. One month ago, he turned his booth into a self-help one, with price clearly marked and an electronic scale for customers.
"In this month, I not only earned money but also felt the trust among people. No man took away my vegetables without paying money or paying less. Honesty is an important thing in doing business, the same for being a good man. I will continue to sell vegetables in this way," said Guo.
