A citizen called the Wuhan Evening News hotline to report that there is a man who often rides a bicycle around Jiangxia Stadium with a millstone on his head. On Dec. 6, a reporter managed to meet this creative exerciser in front of a store.
Zhang Xunmu, 52, is the rider. A millstone and several stone blocks are placed on the ground in front of him. The millstone weighs 34 kg and the stone blocks are either 25kg or 15 kg.
Zhang Xunmu said that in 2002, he began to balance a stone block on his head while riding the bicycle. Eight years before, he found a deserted millstone by the side of the road. He tried to balance it on head and actually quite enjoyed it. Every day for the past 13 years, he has gotten up early in the morning and ridden about 10 km with the stone on his head. The millstone never falls off.
Due to "wearing" the stone hat, the top of Zhang Xunmu's head has become bald.
