Guizhou is the only province in China that has no plains. About 93 percent of the area in Guizhou is plateaus and highlands. However, the dream of developing the transportation has never been stopped by the deep mountains.

By the end of 2015, the goal of “expressway for every county” will be realized in Guizhou province. By then the total expressway mileage will reach 5,100 kilometers.
