

On March 11, 2016, tea growers were busy harvesting spring tea at the Tea Plantation of the Quality Tea Tree Seed Breeding Site in Simao District, Pu'er City.
By the end of 2015, the tea fields in Simao District had increased in area to 100 square kilometers, 6.04 of which existed as organic fields. And its annual tea output reached RMB3.5 billion. Growing tea has already become one of the major ways of peasants in Simao District to boost their income.
