The Photos taken on March 26, 2016, show a duplicate Bayi military aircraft created by a Chinese farmer in Kunming, southwest China’s Yunnan province.

The farmer has spent over 100,000 yuan (over 15,000 USD) to modify an old warplane into one that is 80% similar to the Bayi military aircraft.

“Bayi” which means "August 1" refers to the day considered as the founding day of the People's Liberation Army (PLA), and thus a common name used by entities in the People's Republic of China.
