
YA'AN, April 7, 2016 (Xinhua) -- Photo taken on April 6, 2016 shows female panda Qiaoqiao at Ya'an Bifengxia Base of China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Pandas in Ya'an, southwest China's Sichuan Province. According to the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Pandas, 26 female pandas and 19 males have been selected in this year's mating plan. By far, 10 female pandas at the breeding base have mated since February. The center captive-breeds the world's largest panda population -- 218 as of the end of 2015. (Xinhua/Xue Yubin)
