Air China took delivery of the first Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner on May 20, making Air China the first Chinese airline to operate the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. The wide-body aircraft will start on May 26 to fly the route from Beijing to Chengdu, southwest China's Sichuan Province. Air China is expected to receive all 15 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners by 2018.
