On Tuesday, nearly 100 fans of Hanfu, the traditional dress of the Han Chinese people, gathered at a Qixi-themed cultural festival in Kunming, Yunnan province. They performed Chinese classical dramas, played traditional Chinese music and worshipped the Weaver Girl, one of the protagonists in the Chinese myth from which Qixi Festival originates. The cultural festival has become an important event where people get to experience traditional elements of Chinese culture.
