Wengji villager group is located in Ancient Tea Forest Scenic Spot of Jingmai Mountain in Pu’er City, which is a typical poor ancient village of Bulang nationality.
Since the implementation of the Targeted Poverty Alleviation in Pu’er City, wengji villager group strengthen the tea industry based on ancient tea resources and the culture of Bulang nationality. Wengji villager group has formed three tea professional cooperatives of farmers, covering all farmers in the village. The cooperative produces about 15 tons of ancient tea and 50 tons of ecological tea each year. The total income of tea economy has reached more than 5 million RMB.
