Zhou Daning is a captain with Air China. "The job chose me," he said. His father used to serve as a pilot in the air force and later worked in civil aviation. Zhou grew up under the influence of his father.

As time goes by, the handsome father has retired and the little boy has grown up to a captain with over 16,700 hours flying time. Zhou, as an experimented pilot, understands the importance of flight safety. When teaching the new pilots, he sticks to the idea that safety is everything.

Zhou’s life is filled with work. "I owed my family a lot," he said. In order to spend more time with his family, he does not work as captain any more. When talking about dreams, he said: "My dream is to flying safely until the day I retire, like my father."
