Three students who scored highest in this year's National College Entrance Examination got dressed in traditional "Zhuangyuan" and "Bangyan" costumes and took a horse ride in the ancient Longzhong city in central China's Hubei Province, attracting attention from passers-by and tourists around.
The three students are Chen Fengzhu, who scored highest in liberal arts in this year's National College Entrance Examination among Hubei examinees, Liu shihao, who ranked No.1 in science, and Wu Huiyi, who got the second highest score in liberal arts.
Zhuangyuan is the appellation for a person who ranked first in the imperial court examination in ancient China, while Bangyan refers to the person who ranked No.2.
