He has been working with plants for 43 years. He knows everything about horticulture. And he leads the Chinese plant modelling with his innovative spirit He is Ni Mingchun, a technical consultant at Shanghai Chenshan botanical garden.

Ni began his gardening work when he was only 17. In the beginning, he found it was boring to work with plants and even thought about quitting. As time went by, Ni started to be attracted to the charm of plants, and began to love his job as a horticulturist.

For the past 43 years, Ni has been treating each plant like his own children. For all these years meticulously taking care of the plants, Ni now is an expert in horticulture. Young horticulturists at the botanical garden always turn to him for help.
