BEIJING, July 23 (Xinhuanet) -- The Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in northwest China will be built as the strategic fulcrum with the “Belt and Road” Initiative bringing new opportunities, according to local media reports.
Ningxia is willing to strengthen cooperation on finance with Arab countries to introduce overseas capital and make itself a financial center to the Arab states, the reports said.
According to the reports, Ningxia is planning to provide comprehensive logistics services for freight transportation between China and the Arab states.
International cargo flights to the Middle East and Central Asia region are driven to launch with China’s opening of traffic rights, the reports added.
Ningxia has also conceived ideas of developing Sino-Arabic cross border e-commerce, such as promoting cooperation with leading e-commerce enterprises, launching e-commerce websites and establishing third-party payment platform and trade settlement center.
