Dessert fans in Changsha in Central China's Hunan province got a bite of a 4.5-ton cake last week that broke a Guinness world record. The super cake was 5.1-meters long, 3.5-meters wide and 0.9-meter high, with 1,200 kilograms of cream and 250 kilograms of fruit, including pineapple and coconut. It took 45 local bakers three days to complete the cake. After being put on display briefly, it was sliced into small pieces for passers-by to eat. Photo provided to China Daily
