
A man in Linyi, eastern China’s Shandong province recently sparked controversy for selling scallions on his BMW convertible. Some people blamed his act as a publicity stunt.
The man named Sun Yankun is a businessman from wedding industry. He explained that the scallions were grown by his parents. But these scallions are more than enough for his family especially after his mother was hospitalized.
After sharing with his neighbors, Sun still had many left. So he decided to sell those scallions, but attracted more than expected attention because of his BWM car.
