
A total of 198 villagers from 60 households in the Xinjiang village of Kokyar were relocated to safe regions on Saturday after Kokyar was hit by a massive landslide. The landslide passed through the village on Wednesday and left 35 people dead as of Thursday. Kokyar is located in Yecheng county in northwestern China's Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region.
