A love story that united a couple for life also led to the marriage of black barley and Western baking techniques in a Tibet bakery.
The Accordian Tibetan-style Bakery in Lhasa, Southwestern China’s Tibet autonomous region, is a testament to the love between Pasang Tsering of the Tibetan minority and Man Xinwei of the Han majority.
The couple met and quickly fell in love in 2006 and a year later, decided to make desserts as something fun that they could do together.
