Nanjing’s temperature was about 37 degrees Celsius that day. Under the scorching sun, the surface of the car parking can even fry an egg.
Bo Xue was born in 1992. The policewomen squadron of Nanjing traffic police she works for is made up of mostly post-90 policewomen. Bo Xue says: “When we are on duty, some citizens may tell us ‘You girls are too toilsome in such hot weather.’ The understanding and cooperation like this make me maintain that it’s worthy of all the contribution.”
