In mid-July, the temperature of Xi’an and other regions reaches 39 degrees Celsius. Gao Lei, a crew member on Train 7005/6 of Xi’an Railway, works to fetch water, coal the train and clean the boiler ash. He is responsible for three water boilers, providing more than 50 tanks of boiled water for 11 compartments. He is busy and sweating in maintaining water supply for passengers.
