9. Refugee crisis continues to trouble Europe, members of EU fall into internal disputes
In the midst of turmoil in the Middle East, Europe has been suffering from a very serious refugee crisis. The European Commission estimated that the influx of refugees will continue in the next year; the total number of refugees entering European Union countries is expected to reach 3 million by the end of next year. The EU has held several meetings on the issue of refugees, yet the transferring and resettlement program created by the EU still has not actually relieved the pressure, which has caused EU members to get into disputes.
