The guided-missile frigate Shangrao steams alongside the guided-missile frigate Quanzhou. A taskforce with a maritime garrison command of the East China Sea Fleet under the PLA Navy, composed of the guided-missile frigates Quanzhou, Shangrao and Foshan and the comprehensive supply ship Gaoyouhu, carried out a sea and air defensive and offensive training exercise in the East China Sea in mid to end of March, 2016.
