
LANZHOU, April 1 -- Lin Duo was appointed deputy and acting governor of northwest China's Gansu Province on Friday.
The Standing Committee of Gansu Provincial People's Congress made the decision at a session held Friday in Lanzhou, capital of the province.
Lin Duo, 60, is a native of Heze City in east China's Shandong Province.
The legislature accepted the resignation of former governor Liu Weiping at the session.
