Liu Lifeng is from a village in Binzhou, Shandong. From 2011 to 2014, Liu had traveled through over 20 provinces in China. Last year when he traveled back to Qingdao, he decided to stay in the city and opened a musical instrument store with friends. But once he has time, Liu still goes out and sings in the street. He says the first time he heard a coin dropping into the tea mug in front of him when he was singing, he felt like he knocked open the door to heaven. (Qingdao News/Sun Zhiwen, Yu Hong)
