
Kevin Tsai (蔡康永)

Kevin Tsai, born in March 1962 in Taipei, is a writer and television host in Taiwan. In 1990, Tsai received his master's degree in TV production from UCLA's School of Theater, Film and Television in the United States.
Tsai is best known for his humorous presence in co-hosting the TV program "Kangxi Lai Le" with hostess Dee Hsu. He has written 15 books, including best-sellers such as "Happy Diary", "Wandering in LA", "The Boys Taught Me to Do", and "Kevin Tsai's Way of Speaking".
During a program hosted by Li Ao in November 2001, Kevin Tsai openly acknowledged his sexual orientation while pointing out that there was still much work to be done in Taiwan's LGBT social movements. Tsai and his partner George have been together for more than 10 years.
