

Mizhuang Town, Xiangyang City, got its current name because it is the native place of Mi Fu, a famous Chinese painter and calligrapher in Song Dynasty. The town is 57 square kilometers in area and has 15 villages (communities) and a permanent population of nearly 100,000. The town is home to China's most perfect industrial chain; it realized 116.902 billion yuan's worth of industrial output in 2015, and its automobile industrial park is among a few of its kind in china to boast a level of industrial output of 100 billion yuan or higher. The town is home to Asia's largest automobile testing ground, and Xiangyang Automobile Industrial Park, the core of the city's industrial development effort, is situated there.
